located in Houston's Museum District. The hotel
is directly
on the rail line, is about 2 miles from downtown and is adjacent to
Rice University. The hotel has offered us a conference rate

Other accommodations
There
are several other hotels in
the area, and some are on or close to the rail line. However,
please keep in mind that Houston is about 700 square miles; therefore,
if you choose to stay in a hotel other than the conference hotel, you
should look for one that is in the Museum District, the Medical Center,
the Astrodome or Reliant Center area, or downtown. Houston
does
have a bus service, but it's a bit risky to rely on it. If
you
